The map of my relationship to myself
The most important relationship in your life is the relationship to yourself. This is where everything starts and ends. Being and becoming, who you really are and meant to be. This relationship determines the quality of all other relationships. You become alive in relation to others.
You are always co-creating in relationships – the question is whether you are conscious or not.
Please reserve 1 hour time for doing this self inquiry. See it as a gift to yourself, an investment. Find a quiet place where you are not disturbed. Read through the instructions for the whole process before. You need a big piece of paper (A3) and a pen. Feel free to use different colour pens in your process if you feel like it. Write the heading in the middle of the paper and then write down the following questions spread out on the paper (it will look like a map) with empty space beneath each question for your answers.
1. How does the relationship to yourself look like?
2. How did your parents’ relationships to themselves look like?
3. How do you love yourself?
4. How did the relationship to yourself change at school?
5. How does the relationship to yourself affect your close relationships?
6. How does the relationship to yourself affect your work and creativity?
7. What does the relationship to yourself need now?
8. How has the relationship to yourself changed as an adult?
Start the actual writing process by first focusing on your breathing, close your eyes and become present in your body. Let the thoughts calm down. Breath until you find stillness and a loving acceptance. Then give thanks to the wisdom of life and open up to receive. Ask yourself for honesty. Don’t judge.
THEN START ANSWERING THE QUESTIONS IN THE ORDER YOU LIKE WITH THE NON-DOMINANT HAND. (This means left hand for right-handed people and viceversa). This is very important. Don’t mind if the handwriting looks crazy, it is only meant for you to read.
When you are ready, give thanks to the wisdom and just be present to the map. See where on the map are the keys to change, transformation and insight. Have fun!

Writing practice - what do I love to do
Reserve an empty paper and pens and start to write freely about what you love to do during 30 minutes. Don't stop until time is out.
Example:
I love to eat good food. I love to be with friends. I love to go to movies. I love to write. I love to design. I love to make people happy. I love to go out in nature. I love to relax with my loved ones.
After finishing read through to see if you find something interesting. It is often during the last "hard" minutes that the pearls arise!!!
