Pedagogy for Transformation & EvolutionWelcome to get inspired from the co-creation between Victoria and me, Harriet. We are sharing our knowledge and wisdom from years of working with inner transformation in different contexts. The videos were made during an intensive 3-days in Helsinki on March 27-29, 2019.
Victoria has developed her powerful own methodology and she has used it in Nepal saving thousands of children by giving them tools to create their lives by working on their minds. I am so deeply touched by her work. There is a well to learn from when you listen to her. I have worked with inner transformation with young adults, teachers and entrepreneurs/creatives and I know what it takes to transform your mind in an adult age. It requires determination and good support. To be able to co-create you need an equal, collaborative mind, not a competitive mind that our culture and educational system has provided us. It is time to improve the world by using Victoria´s powerful practice for evolving the mind called Ensemble for Evolution. |
We hope you enjoy the content of the videos. We had a lot of fun while doing them. Co-creation is to be in a free flow of creativity. We didn't plan or prepare them, we started to make them and more and more content emerged and we ended up with 15 videos all together.

Towards an Universal Pedagogy in Evolution of the Mind
We are looking for people interested in sharing our goal, which is to develop a Global Universal Pedagogy based on the Pedagogy for Transformation created by Victoria Subirana to be implemented as a part of the national curriculum all over the world. A new subject called The Evolution of the Mind should be integrated in all subjects providing the skills for developing mental maturity.
Mental maturity opens up and expands the level of human consciousness, which leads to more innovations in the society. Mental maturity is the ability to 1) critical and free thinking, 2) analysis of information and skills through self-awareness and 3) creative imagination and expression. Integrating the evolution of the mind into the curriculum is a living experience during the whole school day and study time on all levels for all ages of students. It requires consistent daily work by trained teachers with appropriate materials, activities, assessment and design or modification of the learning environment. This way of educating involves individual, peer and small group activities, which invite to a deeper connection to the communities and families. Education is a life-learning process and no longer disconnected from the society. We want to model the future initiatives in education based on the best practices from Pedagogy for Transformation, which already has been successfully implemented during 30 years.

Bio of Victoria Subirana
Victoria is a Spanish teacher who started her remarkable pedagogical career by working for 10 years in a Montessori School. Parallel she studied extensively other methodologies such as Decroly School, Freinet & Reggio Emilia. She graduated with a Master in Curriculum & Teaching from Michigan State University.
In 1988 she traveled to Nepal and was moved by the miserable conditions of the street children. She gave up her comfortable life in Spain and established her first school in Kathmandu. Since then she has dedicated her whole life to underprivileged children and women of Nepal aiming at satisfying their social, intellectual and psychological needs.
She succeeded in implementing her methodology of teaching: ”Pedagogy for Transformation” (PT) amongst the poorest of the poor. This method empowers the hearts of the children and emphasizes the main virtues, and instills their minds with creative, analytical and critical thinking. In this way they are able to identify the root-cause of their problems developing necessary tools and strategies in order to escape from poverty, ignorance and oppression.
Her book, "Pedagogy for Transformation” in Spanish, was launched by Sanz y Torres & UNED Publishing House in Spain (www.sanzytorres.com).
Her autobiography, "A Teacher in Kathmandu” inspired UNIVERSAL PICTURES to produce a movie based on her life story: "Kathmandu - A Mirror in the Sky".
Victoria is the researcher, investigator, founder, and promoter of several education projects. Her methodology has been successfully implemented for 25 years as part of an Educational Reform Program in 30 public schools of Nepalgunj. She has organized lectures, on-line education of her methodology, courses in several universities and schools in Spain, in Nepal, and all over the world.
