InTune Brand Promise

Learn a new way of being and doing!

Co-creating as "I" and "WE"

In the InTune approach, co-creating consists of consciously moving between the knowledge of the Self and bringing that knowledge to serve the group. In today's culture our egos see this as a threat - we believe that we should stand out as separate from each other in order to maximize our own benefits. In any group work this behavior is seen as manipulation, abuse of others, unresolved conflicts, exclusion of people, power over dynamics, need for victims -> blame culture, keeping up a certain image etc. The InTune transformation work helps to create trustful space for the healthy "I" and the healthy "WE" to be born and create bigger things together with a more profound impact.

The knowledge base is within Relational Constructionist View. The work applies mindfulness and multiple ways of knowing to refine tacit knowledge without the need for labeling or expecting specific results. The conclusions about the qualities of co-creation from Terhi Takanen's Ph.D. study of Co-Creative Process Inquiry are as follows (The doctoral thesis The Power of Being Present at Work - Co-Creative Process Inquiry as a Developmental Approach was approved at Aalto University in 2013):
  1. From making changes towards giving space and letting go: there is no problem-finding / constructing, no fixed targets and measures, no big plan but very open intentions without clear-cut definitions
  2. From stable structure towards enabling structures: how are we practicing "power with" in our ways of relating to each other?
  3. From visioning and planning future towards embodying it in the here and now: how to suspend our intellectually oriented ways of focusing in the future and instead listen to how values, vision and purpose already exist in our everyday action?
  4. From thinking-mode towards embodied sensing: is there any space for the un-known and new to emerge, or any space to relate differently?
  5. From result-oriented evaluating towards storytelling in this moment: from making judgements towards ways of evaluating open possibilities and acceptance of different ways of seeing.

InTune tools to facilitate transformation

You can change what's around you by changing what's inside you, and for that you need to have willingness to do the personal work (self-awareness & self-inquiry), other people to be caring mirrors (group awareness), as well as tools that work.
InTune work is based on long personal development processes and it is very experiential and practice oriented. During personal and client work I have acquired a selected tool box based on researched knowledge:
  • The InTune Awareness skills and it's statements put you into connection with what feels true to you and what you need to face on your path to becoming a free and conscious co-creator. It represents insights from a personal co-creator journey which was much about purifying shadows (what prevents you from truly collaborating and exposes you to move from "I" to "WE") as well as finding a more powerful way of serving together. This has been a quantum leap from living within the small self to being of bigger service.
  • to become aware of your current and desired values (personal and group / organizational levels) and how they are connected to what drives your motivation - Cultural Transformation Tools. Richard Barretts`s Values Centre have worked with values-based transformational work in organizations worldwide and possesses a deep understanding of the different levels of consciousness driving behavior in individuals, leaders and groups/organizations. I am a certified facilitator of CTT.
  • Co-Creative Process Inquiry (CCPI) is an emerging developmental approach for cultural transformation in individuals, groups and organisations developed by Ph.D. Terhi Takanen in Finland in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, The Government as Employer. It transforms the ways of working together as well as the quality of co-operation – from ego-centric (re)acting to genuine co-creation.  The coaching moves in relation to Self and Others - the phases combine self-reflection and sharing & mirroring with others. For example, one client experienced that "The issue developed into something more. Mirroring gave the truth back to me". The doctoral thesis The Power of Being Present at Work - Co-Creative Process Inquiry as a Developmental Approach was approved at Aalto University in 2013. Read the dissertation
  • Emotional Dynamics has been developed to guide you through acknowledging the power of your emotions, your "emotional heredity" and how they affect the way you co-create your relationships. When these patterns are acknowledged, gates of new opportunities open up with the freedom and understanding the message of your emotions and what you can do with them without belittling or feeling ashamed by them. The method was developed by Antti Pietiäinen in Finland, and the literature is only available in Finnish. www.kairon.fi

Requirements for successful InTune work

  • Determination and commitment to change
  • Openness towards letting the process lead the way
  • A will to look at oneself, others and situations with caring honesty
  • Inviting everybody involved to participate
  • Use of multiple ways of knowing and doing (art, meditation, visualization, movement, dream work)
  • A will to expand your view on learning towards collaborative learning - in the HERE and NOW

What InTune work is not about

  • Shallow, short-term work that is aimed to keep the facade clean
  • Consulting from the outside - I will not tell you how things are and what you should do. The solutions are found from within through profound and careful facilitation.
  • Cannot be used for "political agendas" - the InTune way always serves the best of everyone involved.

The principles in the work are as following: co-creation means personal responsibility and leadership, it is not therapy but it can have a therapeutic impact, it is not coaching towards a specific goal, but the goal and vision will arise from within during the process. You might get surprised what is emerging from within. Usually it is something much more than you could have imagined. This is because you open up to the co-creative field and the collective intelligence.
